Farming with the Seasons

Farming with the Seasons

Our farm in Kaizuka doesn't follow a calendar; it follows the earth.

My grandmother knows exactly when the Mitsuba is ready by the scent of the morning air. My father knows the soil is ready for radishes by the way it feels in his hand after a rain. This ancient rhythm is the heartbeat of our home.

In a world of supermarkets and plastic-wrapped convenience, there is something profound about touching the dirt that grew your dinner. It connects you to the cycle of life in a way that is both humbling and empowering.

During our tours, we often take guests out to the fields. We see their faces change when they pull a fresh vegetable from the ground. It is a moment of pure, unadulterated connection. That is the Japan we want to share.
