Terms of Service

Clear expectations protect both guests and hosts and help keep every Nagomi experience calm, personal, and safe.

Effective Date

These terms apply to bookings, inquiries, and participation in experiences offered through the Nagomi Local Experience website and related direct communications.

Bookings and Availability

All bookings are subject to availability and are not final until we confirm the reservation through Cal.com, direct communication, or payment confirmation. We may decline or reschedule requests when weather, host availability, venue constraints, safety concerns, or operational issues make an experience impractical.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in Japanese yen unless otherwise stated. Online reservations and card payments are handled through Cal.com with Stripe as the payment processor, or through a confirmed Stripe payment link when arranged directly by email. Any taxes, transportation costs, exchange-rate charges, or bank/card charges applied by your provider remain your responsibility unless we clearly state otherwise.

Cancellations, Changes, and No-Shows

Free cancellation is available until 7 days before the scheduled experience. A 50% cancellation fee applies from 7 days before until 24 hours before the start time. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests must arrive on time, follow host instructions, respect the home, surrounding property, equipment, and other participants, and disclose relevant dietary, mobility, allergy, or health concerns in advance when they may affect the experience.

Safety and Conduct

Some activities may involve hot cooking surfaces, farm soil, uneven outdoor ground, steps, traditional architecture, or heritage interiors. Guests participate at their own discretion and must act responsibly. We may end or refuse participation without refund when a guest behaves unsafely, disruptively, or disrespectfully.

Photos, Content, and Intellectual Property

All website text, branding, and original presentation materials remain the property of Nagomi Local Experience unless otherwise stated. Guest-created photos remain the property of the guest, but by tagging or sharing public content with us you may allow us to request permission to repost or feature it.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nagomi Local Experience is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from website use, travel delays, missed connections, weather disruption, third-party platform outages, or guest failure to follow instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may link to third-party services for payment, scheduling, maps, or social content. We are not responsible for the independent policies, uptime, or content of those external services.

Governing Use

These terms are intended to be interpreted in a commercially reasonable manner consistent with the operation of a Japan-based experience business. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
